Disney Bringing Back Live Entertainment To Disney World

It’s been a rough year for Disney fans. With Disneyland Park still closed Walt Disney World still running in a limited capacity, there seems to be no end in sight on when the Disney Parks can get to a level of normal we can all enjoy. Plus, the furloughs and layoffs of hundreds of cast members didn’t help with delivering the Disney magic, either. But, there is hope and good news on the horizon. Disney Parks announced that live entertainment will be returning soon to Walt Disney World - beginning with The Festival of the Lion King at Disney’s Animal Kingdom.

WDW has been slowly bringing back little performances here and there, but this is the first major live event making a comeback. The park is looking at a Summer launch.

Glass half full, Disney fans.
