Lindsay Lohan's reunion with the "real-life" Hallie from 1998's Parent Trap has us seeing double...again!
According to E!News, Lohan, who starred as Annie James and Hallie Parker in the iconic film, recently reunited with the "real-life inspiration for her character Hallie," filmmaker Nancy Meyers' daughter, Hallie Meyers-Shyer.
While Lohan played the role of both twins (each inspired by one of Meyers' daughters), Meyers-Shyer also had a part in the film alongside the Freaky Friday alum. The girls were friends at Camp Walden, with Meyers-Shyer being one of Annie's two allies (whose name in the film was Lindsay, ironically enough).
Meyers-Shyer shared a camp throwback with Lohan nearly four years ago, letting fans know that they quite literally "wore matching outfits for all of 1998," and were together all the time.
Lohan and Meyers-Shyer's reunion took place on Wednesday (July 17), nearly 26 years since the release of Parent Trap, as depicted in an Instagram post that has since been taken down by Meyers, but can still be viewed on E!News.
The photo in question captured the former camp besties smiling from ear to ear as they enjoy precious moments together, decades after the film's release. Despite making memories with "real-life Hallie" earlier this week, Lohan has revealed on a few occasions that Annie was her favorite character to play because she "just had a classier twist to her that I really loved."
