Channing Tatum and Zoë Kravitz shocked fans last month when they called off their engagement and ended their relationship, and now we're learning why they went their separate ways.
A source told Entertainment Tonight that the former couple, who sparked a three-year-long romance after meeting on the set of Kravitz directorial debut thriller Blink Twice, thought it best to split due to their "demanding schedules," adding that their busy careers was a "big part of why they [broke up]."
Tatum has been in North Carolina filming his new film Roofman, where he portrays a real life robber who broke into dozens of fast food restaurants, while Kravitz has been spending time with friends in New York.
Despite their split, there is reportedly no bad blood between the exes who have tried to keep things friendly, with the source adding that they "won't let the end of their relationship get in the way of their shared projects." They are also set to appear in an alien invasion film together, Alpha Gang, with filming set to begin in 2025, per Deadline.
News of their breakup came hours after the Magic Mike actor shared an Instagram Story shouting out the project, including Kravitz and other actors set to star in the film, such as Dave Bautista, Cate Blanchett, Léa Seydoux, Steven Yeun and Riley Keough.
