It's the end of an era for Olivia Rodrigo.
The "Vampire" singer brought her sophomore chapter to an end with her final GUTS World Tour performance at the Osheaga festival in Montreal, Canada, on Sunday (August 3), and she marked the occasion with a very special gift for some fans in the crowd, per People.
At the end of the show, Rodrigo surprised fans by walking to the crowd, removing her silver rings spelling out GUTS, which she also wears on the album cover, and gifting them to excited festivalgoers in the audience. She shared the special moment in a video posted to her TikTok.
"rings off!!!!! that's a wrap on guts tour!!! until next time I love y'all ππΈπ," she captioned the clip, signaling the end of her GUTS tour after more than a year on the road. The tour first kicked off in February 2024.
Fans flooded the comments on the video mourning the end of the era and expressing excited disbelief that some fans were given "THE olivia rodrigo rings," calling it "truly insane." Some even are looking ahead to what Rodrigo will do next, hoping that Rodrigo is well on her way to her third album.
"TIME FOR THE OR3 LEAD SINGLE," one commenter wrote, while another paraphrased Taylor Swift's "Long Live," with, "It was the end of an era, but the start of an age π"
Rodrigo's appearance at the festival came hot off the heels of her headlining set at Lollapalooza in Chicago on Friday, where she brought out Weezer for a surprise collaboration to perform the band's hits "Buddy Holly" and "Say it Ain't So." It was a "very, very special" full-circle moment for the "Driver's License" singer, People reports, as Weezer was the first concert she ever attended.
