If you're gonna fake a California license plate, know how to spell!

Cops in California know a fake license plate when they see it. Especially when it indicates the state name as "Califas."

A police officer pulled over a tractor-trailer with what looked like a vintage California license plate painted black with yellow numbers and letters. After a closer look he noticed that the plate was hand-painted. He also noticed that "Califas" was the state name, not "California."

The driver's problems didn't end there. He had methamphetamine and was arrested and charged with DUI, possession and driving without a license. He also had an active arrest warrant.
