Important Request For Assistance:

Four wheelers and ATVs needed.

Our emergency personnel are going to be faced with some significant logistical problems in responding to the very many calls that are currently backlogging. Right now emergency vehicles cannot be not be on the road because it is not safe.

However, they are cataloguing the many many calls from the many citizens in need. Our public safety personnel need to deploy as quickly as possible. The roads are a mess and we are trying to gain access to as many ATVs and/or 4 wheelers as possible for our EMTs, Firemen, and Police so that they can respond as soon as the winds die down. We have several urgent calls to respond to quickly.

If you have a 4 wheeler or ATV and are willing to allow our Dougherty County Emergency Management Agency first responders to make use of it to help those in need please immediately call 229.483.6226 and let them know. They will make arrangements with you to pick it up and return it. It is very important and we very much appreciate it. Your kindness may very well end up helping a neighbor.
